St Kitts Music Festival Coming to NYC in June

The 13th Annual St. Kitts Music Festival launches into high gear with a press conference this week in New York City, giving plenty of advance notice of the June 25-27 event.

St. Kitts Tourism Authority Chief Executive Officer, Rosecita Jeffers said the St. Kitts Music Festival has become an integral component in the marketing of St. Kitts as a major tourism destination. ?Through stories about the Festival we are able to expose regional and international audiences to St. Kitts as a destination. So it is a marketing opportunity that places the spotlight on our beautiful island,? Jeffers said.

Chairman of the St. Kitts Music Festival, Faron Lawrence, explained, ?The St Kitts Music Festival has earned the reputation over a 13 year history of being the most diversified musical party in the Caribbean. So people can expect a special island experience, rich with exciting music and exhilarating performances.

?But This is not just about the St. Kitts Music Festival,? Lawrence continued. ?We are also promoting the St. Kitts & Nevis destination as a wonderful place to visit at any time of the year.?
