?It?s an excellent opportunity for locals to see Brazilian styled football,? Minister of Sport Honorable Glenn Phillip told SKNIS. Chief organizer Eduardo Prada of Prada Sports and Marketing agreed and encouraged residents to get up close and personal with the visiting players.
?I?d like to invite all people to come and watch [the games] and talk to the Brazilians, try to express yourselves, try to communicate,? he stated. ?We are very receptive, we love this opportunity to come here and I think the people of the Island will enjoy it.
The matches will be played under the round robin format where each team will play the others. The top two teams with the most points will go on to the finals. Most of the games are scheduled for the evening, with the finals and third place match being held at Warner Park on October 13.
