St. Kitts and Nevis Information
Nevis a Biker's Dream

On Nevis, the small scenic island of 10,000 residents in the Leeward Islands, cyclists can ride on paved roads that circle the island, and explore the interior on mountain trails that once connected the sugar cane plantations. Nevis is a popular destination now for bikers, who can rent a mountain or road bike at Wheel World, and enjoy a friendly cycling community.
St. Kitts, the other part of the island Federation of St. Kitts and Nevis, has great cycling terrain as well. Take the Sea Bridge Ferry from Nevis? Cades Bay to Cockleshell Beach on St. Kitts and try the trails on two mountain peaks along the peninsula. Remember to ride on the left side of the road, with the cars (the islands used to be a British colony). Motorists are in no hurry, and considerate.
Nevis has a 20-mile island ring loop with places to stop along the way, small resorts and restaurants. You'll need a guide for the mountain paths that crisscross the back country. Stay at Nesbit Plantation or Oualie Beach and take your time enjoying the views and ambience of our island.
