Four Seasons Resort on Nevis Officially Reopens

After being closed for 791 days, following damage from Hurricane Omar in 2008, the Four Seasons Resort on Nevis has reopened for business. Regional Vice President and General Manager, Andrew Humphries, described the resort?s reopening as ?a very emotional time? for him.

This is the 5th reopening of the resort since it began operations in February, 1991. The resort?s mass hiring initiative in October of this year led to employment for more than 400 persons. The newly-hired employees joined 225 persons who had not been laid off, for several weeks of training in order to prepare for the holiday season.
