Plan to Attend the Nevis Triathlon April, 2011

Winston Crooke, President of the St.Kitts and Nevis Triathlon Federation, has announced the TriStar 111 event will be competed April 2.
The full week of activities preceding the race will begin Sunday March 27, with the annual cross channel swim from Nevis to St.Kitts. This event continues to attract more and more swimmers every year. The week also will involve tours, hikes, cultural events and smaller biking events. These are designed to attract participation from some of Nevis? young athletes and cyclists currently involved in the "bikes not bombs" program.
Visitors to the Triathlon TriStar111 can enjoy a wide range of Nevis cuisine and general culture. More than 500 athletes are expected to compete.
Race distances will be:
? TriStar111 Distance ? 1000m Swim - 100km Bike - 10km Run (individual or relay)
? TriStar33.3 Distance - 300m Swim - 30km Bike - 3km Run (individual only)
? TriStar11.1 Distance ? 0.1km Swim - 10km Bike - 1km Run (individual only)
